Q. Where are LGBT centers/programs housed within the administrative structure of colleges/ universities?

A. LGBT Programs and Resource Centers are housed in many different administrative areas, although the majority tend to be within a Student Life Department or under a Dean of Students Office. Coordinators and directors of these offices thus report to different individuals as well, dependent upon where the center falls in the administrative structure of the institution. Below are data compiled from schools and institutions that have a resource center with at least one full-time staff member.
