Q. Where can I find resources and information on Jewish LGBT issues and programming suggestions?

A. Below are links to several documents to assist a campus with providing programming for and about Jewish LGBT issues. The first one is a checklist for Hillel professionals to help measure the inclusiveness of their Hillel. There are two resource sheets about Jewish GLBT books and Jewish GLBT web sites. The last document offers a few programming ideas.

Whether you currently work with your campus Hillel or not, the check list could be a great jumping off point for a conversation about reaching out to Jewish GLBT students. Since a number of Jewish GLBT students don't feel comfortable being out at Hillel, we hope that Hillel professionals will begin thinking about other ways they can make their space a more visibly welcome place for the GLBT students in their community.
