Hi All,
The Women's Center Committee Professional Development Working Group has developed a Virtual Summit for Women and Gender Equity Center Student Staff on January 22, 2021 (1-4PM (EST)/ 10-1PM (PST)). We wanted to provide this opportunity for those who work on LGBTQ+ Centers and dual centers as well. Our hope is that this event brings together student staff from WGECs from across the country. We will build community, learn together and strategize about our work in this current moment. We will address topics ranging from self-care to career paths after working in WGECs/LGBTQ+Centers through group sessions, facilitated discussions, and panels. Our tentative schedule is below. Please share with your student staff and encourage them to attend. WGEC/LGBTQ+ Center professional staff is also welcome and areas will be set aside for us to discuss and catch up on our work during this time.
