The American College Personnel Association's Standing Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Awareness has an excellent Resource Clearinghouse.

NASPA

The archival NASPA's GLBT Network site offers links related to NASPA orGBLT issues, information on domestic partnership, safe space programs, career services, and GLBT Youth Resources. Note: The Network has been replaced by the NASPA GLBT Issues Knowledge Community (you need to use Internet Explorer to visit this site)

USSA

NATIONAL QUEER STUDENT CAUCUS of the United States Student Association, works to network, organize, and advocate for LGBT students both within USSA and to ensure that the rights of queer students are represented within the student movement and on the federal level.

NGLTF

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force site includes their terrific LGBT Campus Organizing: A Comprehensive Manual, as well as a plethora of other materials on current issues. Most of their publications can be downloaded and are excellent additions to LGBT office libraries.

CampusPride.net

CampusPride.net. This site was launched in the fall of 2002. It serves as a national network for GLBT student leaders.The site has a lot of excellent resource information for student organizations and activists. They also have their own email list to network students.

The National Academic Advising Assocation

The National Academic Advising Assocation (NACADA) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Allies Concerns Commission

This site offers resources for advisors and for students, assorted links, and basic information for academic advisors about the LGBT community. The focus is aimed at those who work in academic advising.

Stop the Hate

STOPHATE.ORG: “Stop the Hate!” Campus Hate Crime Prevention Program supports colleges and universities in preventing and combating hate on campus as well as fostering the development of community and serving as the premiere source of anti-hate educational resources for higher education. They annually offer a Campus Hate Crime Prevention Train the Trainer Program.

SLDN

Are you concerned about the military on American college and university campuses? The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network offers advice about what to do to fight discrimination by the military and ROTC on your campus.

NCOD

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC)'s National Coming Out Project pages have a lot of useful information.

PFLAG

Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbian and Gays (PFLAG)'s publications page offers their publications. Check out the Education area of their site for lots of valuable information. and recommendations.

Division 44

The American Psychological Association's Division 44: The Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Issues offers a variety of information on their website. This includes a piece on academic climate for LGB students in Psychology, an internalized homophobia scale for Lesbians, and the Malyon-Smith Scholarship Award for grad students in psychology. The main APA website offers this helpful publication: Answers to Your Questions About Sexual Orientation and Homosexuality.

NOW

The National Organization for Women (NOW) offers a helpful piece on statistics about homophobia and an interesting report on same-sex marriage.

Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund

The Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund is the nation's oldest and largest legal organization working for the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, and people with HIV/AIDS. The offer info on their Freedom to Marry actions and their legal work in education, documents every gay man and lesbian should have (health care proxy, living will), and more. Use their search feature to find college-related content on the site.

ACLU

The American Civil Liberties Union's Lesbian and Gay Rights Page covers their challenges to universities's Refusals to provide equal benefits to partners of lesbian and gay employees, we well as a variety of other information on legal rights for LGBT people.

GLSEN

The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network offers an extensive on-line resource collection with materials that may be useful for training -- especially with education majors.

NALGCC

The National Association of Lesbian and Gay Community Centers offer a directory (by state) to help you link to community resources from your campus.

InterPride

Visit The International Association of Lesbian/Gay Pride Coordinators, Inc. for the most current list of Pride days around the world.

Bi Pride!

The Bisexual Resource Center includes news and information about bisexuality, feature articles, and a huge and regularly updated collection of Bisexual Resources.

Intersex Society of North America

Intersex Society of North America is devoted to systemic change to end shame, secrecy, and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with an anatomy that someone decides is not standard for male or female. They have an extensive online library and FAQ area.

Lambda 10 Project

Lambda 10 Project's National Clearinghouse for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Greek Issues offers educational resources, personal accounts, and chat discussions pertaining to sexual orientation issues in Greek life. Their site features personal stories from fraternity/sorority members on being gay in the college Greek system and a "Who's Out" list of openly gay new, active and alumni members from fraternity/sorority chapters across the continent.

Alpha Lambda Tau

Alpha Lambda Tau is an international aocial fraternity for "Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Alternative Lifestyle Friendly Male College Students." Their site include a chapter directory and information on how to start a chapter on your campus.

Delta Lambda Phi

Delta Lambda Phi is a gay, bi, progressive men's fraternity. The first chapter was founded in 1986. The site includes information on the fraternity, their service projects, and how to start a chapter.
