The Sexual & Relationship Violence Response Program Coordinator oversees the WRC’s Advocates and any volunteer advocates who work with our program. This position will lead the campus advocacy program responsible for supporting students affected by dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking.
This position will be responsible for providing direct services to students affected by dating/domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, or stalking; providing safety planning, resource and referral and case management. Additionally this position provides support for students throughout on and off campus reporting processes, including both Student
Code of Conduct complaints and complaints against faculty and staff. The coordinator will serve as a liaison between the student and campus departments such as Residence Life, Campus Public Safety, Student Health and Counseling, Student Legal Services, and the Office of Student Life, ensuring that students are informed of PSU policies and reporting options; maintain reporting obligations and data collection responsibilities. The coordinator will also supervise campus advocates in providing the same services. This position will be part of a staff after-hours on-call rotation to respond to request for advocates as needed during evenings and weekends, with occasional possibility of needing to respond to campus in person to ensure coordinated service delivery.
The Coordinator also participates as an integral member of the WRC team to support general volunteers, plan programs, and serve in a leadership role as part of the professional staff team. |
