The Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional & Community Planning (LARCP) in the College of Architecture, Planning and Design(APDesign) at Kansas State University is seeking qualified candidates to teach landscape architecture design implementation and other courses in the core curricula as a Professor of Practice (Design Implementation). We are specifically seeking candidates with experience in site design and site-scale construction documentation. The contract period begins in August 2018, and the duration is negotiable for one semester (Fall 2018) or two (Fall 2018 and Spring 2019). The successful candidate will teach in a program dedicated to being a catalyst for excellence and a preeminent choice for graduate education in landscape architecture.
The successful candidate will:
- Teach site design implementation and contribute to teaching courses in the core curricula in LARCP
- Participate in departmental governance
- Contribute to an environment that fosters diversity and collegiality
