Multiple term (non-tenure-track) instructors in expository and professional/technical writing for the Fall 2018 semester, with possible continuation into the Spring 2019 semester. Term instructors teach up to four 3-credit hour course sections per semester of expository and/or professional/technical writing.
The instructional team in the Department of English includes tenure-line faculty, regularized instructors, term instructors, graduate teaching assistants, and undergraduate tutors. Together, we serve students across the university, including 200 majors and minors in English and 45 M.A. students in English. Term instructors represent an important contribution to the Department's instructional team. We provide term instructors with opportunities for professional development and collaborative lesson-planning; we also provide them with office space with access to computers and other resources. Salary Range: $3,082 - $3,621 per course, according to course taught.
