The Department of Psychological Sciences at Kansas State University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to begin Fall of 2019.
The Behavioral Neuroscience area is part of a research-based Ph.D granting department in which faculty members conduct research, supervise graduate students, and teach two courses (graduate and/or undergraduate) each semester.
The Department of Psychological Sciences, which is part of the College of Arts and Sciences, has 15 full-time faculty members who are active researchers and also serve more than 400 undergraduate majors, many of whom are involved in research. The Department has an extensive Ph.D. program with four major areas: Behavioral Neuroscience, Cognitive, Industrial/Organizational, and Social. The department’s Graduate Teaching Apprenticeship program prepares doctoral students to teach in higher education and is one of the few of its type in the country.
