Job Summary:
Position administers university policies and procedures and assists with supporting housing operations in their area. This is a live-in position that requires the GRC to reside in their assigned area.

This position provides fully furnished housing with utilities (water, cable, internet and electricity) included.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Intervene on pressing matters for students of concern and act as a referral agent to appropriate resources
2. Mediate urgent roommate and other interpersonal conflicts
3. Assist RCD with day-to-day management of a residential area of approximately 250 beds
4. Assist RCD with supervision of staff of 18-21 undergraduate resident assistants specifically around programming requirements and needs
5. Effectively respond personal concerns of residential staff and students
6. Regularly liaise outside normal business hours with various administrative units such as Public Safety, Facilities, Custodial Operations, and Student Life On-Call (SLOC)
7. Assist department with opening and closing operations
8. Minimum 16 office hours per week
9. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Must be enrolled in an accredited graduate program at Delaware Valley University
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to effectively work and respectfully interact with others to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment

Required Education, Experience, and License:
· Bachelor's degree required
· Minimum 1-2 years’ indirect experience
· Residence life experience at the undergraduate level preferred

The GRC is a one-year appointment. Term is Aug 1 – May 31 (Negotiable)
