Subject :Two open positions with the University of Arkansas College Access Initiative--closing 12/11/19

Greetings!

We have two opportunities to join the College Access Initiative team at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville: one based in Eastern Arkansas, and one based in Northwest Arkansas. We seek candidates who are passionate about and dedicated to helping students investigate and access post-secondary opportunities.

The College Access Initiative (CAI) is a program in the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education. CAI’s purpose is to provide outreach programming to a large number of underserved Arkansas students in order to bridge the access gap to post-secondary education. To meet this need, the College Access Initiative works with schools and community groups across the state of Arkansas to increase the college readiness of Arkansans by delivering workshops and trainings to students and their families.

The Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education (MC) provides academic, cultural and social programs intended to promote inclusiveness, foster achievement and assist in the development and advancement of a diverse student body at the University of Arkansas. The MC hosts college readiness workshops, diversity and inclusion months, and academic enrichment programs. We are a campus community focused on welcoming all students while valuing, engaging, and empowering them to achieve their full potential.

The University of Arkansas is an equal opportunity, affirmative action institution. The university welcomes applications without regard to age, race/color, gender (including pregnancy), national origin, disability, religion, marital or parental status, protected veteran status, military service, genetic information, sexual orientation or gender identity. Persons must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment. All applicant information is subject to public disclosure under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.
