NC State University's Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity is now seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of Director of its Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Center (GLBT Center). This position is one of four leadership positions within the Campus Community Centers, a new department within OIED. This position provides overall administrative, operational, programming and fiscal direction for the GLBT Center; spearheads strategic planning, budget management, fund development and assessment for all center programs and services; supervises, develops and evaluates all center staff; identifies and addresses barriers to student success; and works with staff from all Centers to foster a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for all students, with a particular focus on students from historically underrepresented and marginalized communities.
