Cedar Crest College is seeking an experienced admissions professional to lead the College’s multicultural recruitment initiatives to increase the number of students from diverse and underrepresented populations. The Assistant Director will have an assigned territory and serve in all phases of the admissions and student recruitment process, effectively promoting the College and managing student inquiries. The Assistant Director participates in admissions events on campus, serves as an participating member of the admissions team and represents the College at college fairs and events.
A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in recruitment and admissions required, preferably in a small, private institution. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and cultural competency skills are essential, in addition to strong organizational and time management skills. A commitment to providing an exceptional student/family experience is required. The selected candidate must be able and available to travel for student recruitment. Irregular, extended and weekend hours are expected as necessary to achieve objectives. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) candidates strongly preferred.
