The Kansas State University (KSU) Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department invites applications for a non-tenure-track instructor position in Biomedical Engineering (BME) beginning January 2019. This position will support the new Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering (https://www.engg.ksu.edu/bme/) offered by the KSU College of Engineering and administrated by KSU ECE (http://ece.ksu.edu/); the first incoming freshmen arrive August 2018.

The successful applicant will teach BME courses (biomechanics, biomaterials, and quantitative physiology are of particular interest), manage junior/senior design experiences, interact with industry partners, advise undergraduate students, meet with prospective students, and generally help to realize a world-class undergraduate BME degree program. This person will coordinate multi-disciplinary learning experiences with academic units in the KSU Colleges of Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Human Ecology, Agriculture, and Arts & Sciences.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000
