Middlebury College (a small, private, liberal arts college in Vermont) is recruiting for a new position in the Anderson Freeman Center (AFC), our campus multicultural center, which serves historically underrepresented students, including first-generation students, low-income students, students of color, and LGBTQ+ students.

This new position, Assistant Director of the AFC, will focus on providing support for LGBTQ+ students. We are looking to recruit an AD with an intersectional social justice lens who is interested in providing direct services for students and playing an active role in working with staff throughout the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion to engage in transformational work on our campus.

We seek applications from individuals with an understanding of the ways intersecting systems of oppression (e.g., racism, ableism, classism, heterosexism, cissexism, etc.) impact students from various underrepresented communities (e.g., students with disabilities, students of color, queer, transgender, first-generation, low-income, international, immigrant, undocumented, tribal and indigenous communities) and with the ability to provide culturally competent and inclusive support services.

The job description is available online at: https://middlebury.peopleadmin.com/postings/19207. This position is classified within the SP3 pay range. You can find the salary range online at: http://www.middlebury.edu/offices/business/hr/comp/payranges.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
