The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Student Affairs Administration Program (M.S.ED.) was voted as one of the top 5 programs by!! It was established in 1967 and is one of the oldest programs in the Midwest! This is a full-time graduate program, most classes are taught on campus, assistantships are 20 hours a week and offers benefits. Average cohort size is 16, the program is 40 credits, and the program has over 1,000 alumni of the program nationwide!!!

The Pride Center works to empower all members of the UWL Community by providing students, faculty, and staff with further awareness of issues related to LGBTQ+ identities. Through ally workshops, trainings, student-led panels, and student organizations, we foster a safer and more inclusive environment for all individuals to be their most authentic self. Within our office, we have books and documentaries that can be borrowed, and other resources to help further learn about various sexual orientations and gender identities. In an ever-changing world, we work to continually support and advocate for the needs of LGBTQ+ individuals, with our goal being that every student is successful while attending UWL.
This week I was asked to teach the Intro to LGBTQ+ Studies for fall. No one has taught it for 4 years. They asked me what books/texts I would like. I am just wondering if anyone is currently teaching and has a suggestion for books or texts I should ask for?

Thank you!
