• Assess and evaluate the success of program goals through Husky Compact dimensions and other assessment models used by the University. This includes assessing both educational programming and services, using evaluation strategies such as on-line surveys, traditional evaluations, focus groups, data analysis and written reports.
• Assist in writing protocols and policy for responding to victims of sexual violence based on state and federal laws and MinnState policies. Stay apprised of updates and changes in relevant laws, policies and trends in the field of gender-based violence. Collaborate with departments, faculty, staff and administration in responding to the problem of gender violence. Serve on the University’s BIT Team and other committees that impact victims/survivors of rape, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking.
• Supervise, train, and collaborate with Women’s Center employees, interns and volunteers to support gender violence competencies and team building. Directly supervise the program graduate assistant or graduate interns. Support the gender-violence based affiliated student organization. Assume director’s responsibilities in her absence.
• Serve on relevant committees as a representative of the Women’s Center. Network with local, state and national organizations in support of goals to prevent and end gender-based violence and to support gender equity.
