The LGBT Center at the University of Louisville is proud to recruit for an exciting, full-time Program Coordinator, Sr position.

The LGBT Center was established in 2007, to strengthen and sustain an inclusive campus community with a primary focus in welcoming people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions through support, educational resources, and advocacy. The Center works in partnership with other diversity efforts across campus supporting the Senior Associate Vice President for Diversity and Equity.

The LGBT Center's Program Coordinator, Sr. will develop programs and services on the Belknap Campus that support LGBTQ+ students, employees and their allies, particularly those from marginalized communities like Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), transgender and non-binary students, and international students. This position is responsible for supervising the Resident Assistant and coordinating services and activities for the Bayard Rustin LGBT and Social Justice themed living community; offering training; event planning and project management; assisting with fundraising; and supporting other functions in the Center and Diversity and Equity Division. The Program Coordinator, Sr. will conduct and support research related to serving LGBTQ+ and BIPOC students; coordinate and administer assessments and collect data to inform the Center and ensure successful outcomes; and offer advice on ways to innovate efforts to recruit, retain and support students through graduation. This position will work closely with other Diversity and Equity units to ensure effective collaborations with campus-wide initiatives, such as orientation, Welcome Week and tabling at events.
